This gorgeous gift comes in a beautiful art gift box covered in the work of a group of ten acclaimed Papunya Tula artists from the Western Desert. This work is known as the Kintore Women’s Painting for the Western Desert Dialysis Appeal. A magnificent work by senior Pintupi women, it was auctioned in November 2000 as part of a special event at the Art Gallery of New South Wales to raise the money to start Purple House and get people home on country. The story of the art work and of Purple House grace the inside and bottom of the gift box so this unique gift includes natural locally made products wrapped in art, culture and a story of hope and resilience.
