This gorgeous gift comes in a beautiful art gift box covered in the art of acclaimed Papunya Tula artist Ningara Napurrula from the Western Desert – one of the original artists who painted the Women’s Kintore painting which was auctioned in November 2000 to raise the money to start Purple House and get her people home on country. She spent the last five years of her life at home on dialysis in Kintore and her work features on the ceiling of the Musée du quai Branly in Paris. The story of the artist and of Purple House grace the inside and bottom of the gift box so this unique gift includes natural locally made products wrapped in art, culture and a story of hope and resilience.
